After getting into an auto accident I found Needham Collision on Angie’s List as I previously had a bad experience with the dealer I purchased my car from. I chose them because of the great online reviews and was happy to discover that they had consistently great service. Needham Collision was open bright and early at 7am and worked with me to arrange a rental car. They promised that my car would be ready in 2 days. My insurance company inaccurately quoted and provided Needham Collision with inaccurate information for the repair. When I went to collect the car (at exactly the time Needham Collision said it would be ready) and discovered the mistake they offered to contact my insurance company to correct the mistake. As promised, they did, with no additional costs to me. My car was ready the next day at the exact time they promised. It was great working with this company.
Everything went very smoothly. I brought the car in for an estimate and got one on the spot. The estimate was substantially lower than another shop I visited (by ~$1000), though Needham offered to do less work. It turned out to be all the work that was necessary. I set up an appointment to have the car repaired and it was ready after a couple of days, as promised. Pickup and drop-off was easy and quick. Since the car's wounds were self-inflicted, it was even money to have insurance pay for it or to pay for it myself, so I just paid it. As a result, I can't speak to how the shop does interacting with insurers. Overall, the repair experience was painless. The blow to my pride and self-respect is another matter.
They did a great job. They did the work on time. They replaced or fixed the front fender on a car that I had for less than a month. It had gotten pretty smashed up. They made it look like new. I couldn't tell that it wasn't brand new, so that made me feel a lot better. There were other additional parts of it that was not covered by insurance that I had to pay for, and the price was pretty reasonable. They seemed very honest. They did quality work and you can trust them. They didn't seem to be overpriced.
I had body work which needed to be done after an accident, and I also had a broken A/C. I wanted to combine the two repairs together in order to save money on the A/C repair. I brought the car in on a Friday so that Gino could see what parts were needed. The quote he gave me for the A/C work was very reasonable compared to other estimates I had gotten. He ordered the parts in advance and I brought my car in on Tuesday am, and everything was done on Wednesday afternoon, including an insurance appraiser approval of a supplement. I was able to drop my rental car with them and they took care of coordinating with Enterprise to get it back.
The front end of my car was hit in my work parking lot, and the person who hit me did not leave contact info. The front light was broken (I had it replaced by my auto shop) and the bumper dented and smudged. I took my car to Needham Collision for an estimate, based on Angie''s List reports. The estimate was reasonable, as I was paying out-of-pocket, and the job was completed on my schedule -- my car was in and out in 1½ days. Three weeks later I was rear-ended on an entry ramp, and again I had Needham Collision complete the repair. The second time I had mostly paint damage because my bumper absorbed most of the shock. The first job cost a little over $500 and the second job a little under $500, and I was very pleased with the outcome. My car looked brand new again!
My new Jetta was side swiped while in a parking lot. The area above the left rear wheel was dented, the topcoat scratched and some paint scratched. I got a recommendation from Angie's List for Needham Collision. The woman who answered the phone was helpful and professional. I took the car in for an estimate and was able to bring it in a day later. The work took two day as I had been told it would. It looks brand new and the cost was exactly what was estimated. The entire experience was pleasant. I would recommend them to others.
I had a golf ball sized dent with a two inch scratch on the hood of my car. I took the car in to Gino on Friday afternoon. He told me that it would only take a day and if I brought it in first thing Monday morning I would have it back first thing Tuesday. The estimate was accurate and they did a beautiful job repairing and repainting the hood. Gino loves cars and had a great conversation about my car and cars in general. I would be happy to bring my car back and use this auto body shop again.
